THE RIK ELLIS FIGHT VIDEOS

If you don't see Aikido in my videos? avoid stress, just try to relax by breathing through your toes - or put on some music and get out your coloured ribbons and have a relaxing Aiki dance. or perhaps extend your Ki to the Aikiweb forums.

For my father and I - Aikido is a traditional martial art, I believe that it should maintain these classical roots, whilst doing so, It should also move into the 21st century by teaching a more self - defence applicable form of Aikido for the modern era..Unlike most martial arts and sports generally, there is no competition in Aikido ( please do not refer me to Tomiki competition ) If there were to be competition in Aikido there would be a lot of so called `masters` high grades tucking up their Hakama's and running for the hills clutching their Kellog grades...In particular the self graded who devalue the good name of Aikido by spawning more of their ilk, complete with self awarded pompous titles - Kenshiro Abbe Sensei often said " No matter your pretense - you are what you are - nothing more ..
